DewAir’s RH-Cube 18 CW (Chilled Water), contains a chilled water coil instead of a DX coil. It is designed for applications that require very high dehumidification capacity such as indoor agriculture, commercial HVAC, factories, and warehouses. The RH-Cube 18 CW can remove up to 600 pints (283 liters) per day of moisture.
The RH-Cube 18 CW’s extraordinary efficiency and capacity are due to its patented heat exchangers which are able to focus approximately 80% of chilled water cooling energy on dehumidification (latent cooling). The remaining 20% results in sensible cooling.
The RH-Cube 18 CW’s heat exchangers provide a 6x improvement in latent to sensible cooling ratio! Without the heat exchangers, approximately 40% of the cooling energy would be latent and 60% would be sensible.
